New Canon Full Frame - EOS 5D Mark III

Canon this month announced the 22.3MP EOS 5D Mark III Digital SLR Camera,which will be available in March 2012 (no launch date yet for Malaysia) for US$3499.

The 5D Mark III body is based on the EOS 7D design and with a 61-point AF system similar to the one found in the EOS-1D X. It is a completely new model, with most of the key specs being substantially upgraded compared to the 5D Mark II.

The followings are the key specifications:-

Shutter speed: 1/8000s to 30s
ISO: 100-25600 standard, 50-102,800 expanded

With the camera resolution increasing with every new camera, photographers seem to be needing upgrade on their hard drive. Bigger HD space coming!

Nikon Announces the D4 digital-SLR camera

Nikon Corporation announced the next-generation flagship Nikon digital-SLR camera, Nikon D4, a Nikon FX-format camera, the ultimate in versatility and functionality. Nikon will be exhibiting the D4 at the 2012 International CES, to be held from January 10 to January 13, 2012 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

This is definitely suited for the working photographer but for the enthusiasts, hobbyists and Nikon fans, it's good to know.
